Publication Ethics & Malpractice Statement
Revue academique: Modern Social Realities Journal (RAMSR) has set standards of publication ethics, transparency and academic integrity that it is determined to maintain. All parties involved in the publication process such as authors, reviewers, and editors are expected to perform management of the publishing process in a responsible and ethical manner by the journal.
Responsibilities of Authors
The writers should make sure that their text is novel, reliable and appropriately cited. Plagiarism, falsifying data or submitting duplicates or misleading information is highly forbidden. All authors listed therein ought to have done a real contribution and any form of conflict of interest or source of funds must be indicated.
Responsibilities of Reviewers
Reviewers should provide fair and unbiased reviews that will remain confidential after submission. Conflicts of interest should be avoided so that the review can be seen to be a transparent process. Constructive feedback should be provided in a timely fashion consistent with the time agreed upon.
Responsibilities of Editors
The decisions made by the editors are purely on academic merit, relevance and quality. They should keep secrets and take timely action in case of any ethics issues or complaints.
Handling Misconduct
Should instances of plagiarism, falsification or unethical behaviour be detected then the journal can impose measures of manuscript rejection, correction, or retraction and also notifies the appropriate institutions where appropriate.
By this policy, RAMSR will establish a reliable and accountable publishing space that will safeguard the quality of scholarly research and contribute to the overall academic community.
