Archiving and Preservation Policy
The Revue academique: Modern Social Realities Journal (RAMSR) believes in the principle that all the published academic contents are safe, free, and lasting. The journal recognizes the necessity of possessing a good academic history and makes frequent actions against the securitization of its electronic publications so that they are available to researchers, institutions, and readers in the future.
Long-term Digital Preservation
All the articles are kept in a stable and thoroughly acceptable digital format that will make them readable in the long-term. This will prevent loss of information due to obsolescence of software, technical failure or a format incongruity in a format in the long term.
Persistent Identification
A Digital Object Identifier (DOI) is assigned to each published article. It is an id that will enable the article to be located and cited strictly even in the future when the internet links and systems architecture may change.
Safe File Storage and Frequent Backups
RAMSR has a number of backup and redundant storage systems that are safe to minimize the risk of losing data. These backups are also audited on a regular basis to ensure that published materials are intact and secure.
Metadata Preservation and Discoverability
In addition to the full text articles, the journal has essential metadata of the authors, abstracts, keywords and the publication details. This helps in indexing of academic databases and also increases visibility and discoverability of research.
Continuous and Free Access
As part of its open-access policy, RAMSR will ensure that existing and archived articles are freely available without subscribing limitations to ensure that they are always learning, referencing and scholarly accessed.
In this way, RAMSR will be in a position to safeguard both the intellectual input and to ensure that the intellectual worth of the research can be of benefit to the international academia even after others.
