Contemporary societies are increasingly shaped by complex and interrelated transformations across social, economic, political, and environmental domains. This review examines modern social realities through an integrative analysis of these multidimensional changes, emphasizing their interconnected and dynamic nature. Drawing on recent interdisciplinary literature, the study explores how social transformations, including digitalization and shifting identities, interact with economic restructuring driven by globalization and technological innovation. It further analyzes political transformations related to governance, institutional capacity, and polarization, alongside environmental challenges such as climate change, sustainability, and resource scarcity. The review highlights that these domains do not operate independently but collectively influence patterns of inequality, social cohesion, and human well-being. By synthesizing existing research, the study identifies key trends, tensions, and interdependencies that shape contemporary societal outcomes. The findings underscore the limitations of single-domain approaches and emphasize the need for integrated frameworks that address the complexity of modern transformations. Ultimately, the review contributes to a more comprehensive understanding of modern social realities and provides a foundation for developing interdisciplinary and policy-relevant responses to current global challenges.
